I thought i would grab your attention with the title, but i’m not going to blog about what i’ve researched about or what other businesses are doing to add to the bottom line.
Instead, i’m going to talk about a series of tweets from myself that resulted in business being done.
Yesterday i was meeting with a local company that want to be a kilt supplier for one of my companies, Heartland Heritagewear.
I tweeted quite innocently that i was “off to see a man about a kilt”, which resulted in a number of replies along the line “ooh i do like a man in a kilt!”
Once i got there, i took a picture of one of the displays and posted it on Twitpic, which once again resulted in a number of replies, one of which was “i’m looking for a kilt”.
I think you can guess the rest.
